Vacations are a time of fun and relaxation for many people and an opportunity to leave worries behind. However, there is always the concern that something is wrong.
Terrorism, natural disasters and crime are just three of the major concerns of people traveling.
Fortunately, some destinations are much safer than others, and the 10 safest of them have been discovered in a new study.
French travel insurance company Insurly has identified the 10 safest countries for 2020.
Switzerland was crowned the safest country on the planet for 2020.
According to Insurly:
"If you travel to Switzerland, the risks are insignificant. "There are excellent health care systems, very little violence and very few transport incidents."
In second place is Singapore.
Insurly described the place as "ideal" for travelers. There is very little violence in Singapore, so it works very well in terms of security as well.
