Fiery Drake fans, mostly Canadians in this case, rolled up their sleeves to show the place to someone who dared to mock the rapper and the latter’s acting skills.

A Twitter user named @pktheterrible posted a video of Drake writing that "Drake wants to be an actor so much." After that, hundreds of people wrote that @pktheterrible certainly did not see Dregassi and ironically said that "they knew Drake as an actor, before the world recognized him as a rapper".

At the age of 15, Drake wanted to become an actor and a high school friend introduced his father, an acting agent, to Drake. He found Drake in a role in the Canadian teen series Dregassi: The Next Generation (2001).

In the series, Drake portrayed Jimmy Brooks, a basketball star who was paralyzed after being shot by a classmate. In "Dregassi: The Next Generation," Drake appeared in a total of 100 episodes, between 2001 and 2008.

At the time, Drake had other less important roles such as "Blue Murder" (2001) or "Soul Food" (2002).
