The #Traffickinghub campaign has recently reached almost 1.5 million signatures on the online petition, in order to close Pornhub once and for all. The campaign video has gone viral and is being distributed everywhere day by day. She points out that this platform has benefited from trafficking and / or abusive videos that lead to rape.
The video also shows specific cases such as that of Rose Kalemba, who according to the BBC, was raped at the age of 14 and the video of this event was posted and circulated on the site for about 6 months. As in the case of the girl, there were at least 118 other cases involving child abuse, which is also confirmed by the Internet Watch Foundation (an organization that verifies the authenticity of online facts). Pornhub's partner, Girls Do Porn, has also been charged by the traffic authority and the case is being pursued. The video also explains how easy it is for all users of the site to have access even without confirming age.
This video is designed to tell the bitter truth about the injustices that the Pornhub network operates on and to raise awareness. So far the petition has been signed by nearly 1.5 million people from 192 countries around the world. This campaign is supported by about 300 child protection and anti-trafficking organizations.
