The perfect time for a shower: Breakfast or dinner?

There are two types of people in the world, those who take a shower in the morning and those who take a shower at dinner. There has never been a stronger opposition than between these two groups. The former say that you should wash in the morning to start the day with freshness and wake up immediately. The latter say that you should wash yourself at dinner to remove all the impurities of the day from your body and sleep better. But which group is right?

Well, none. Or both. It Depends.

According to Indian folk medicine, Ayurveda, you should do both. According to them, baths cleanse not only the body but also the soul. When you bathe in the morning, the cells are stimulated and blood circulation is improved, while when you bathe at dinner, the remnants of the day are removed and a tabula rasa is created for the next day.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the right choice is the dinner shower. Even a specific schedule: an hour after dinner and an hour before bed. Try not to stay in the shower for more than five minutes and rub the skin with movement on the clock arm. Then rinse yourself, apply a mask, moisturize the skin and meditate before lying down under the covers.

According to Western medicine, you should wash when it suits your skin best. That is, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. A morning shower stimulates the cells and is perfect for oily and acne prone skin. If you have dry skin, it is recommended to take a shower during dinner, as the skin exfoliates and repairs itself at night.

But ultimately, the decision is yours, just take a shower.
