In recent days, based on the Albanian language and literature exam in the state matura, a question circulated on social networks and became memes, and then placards in the protest of graduates at the Ministry of Education.
In a communication on A2, the director of the Center for Educational Services, Rezana Vrapi, was asked by a graduate, Casey Spahiu, what is the correct alternative. Vrapi explained that the alternative was "Turi jumped to the right to avoid the rock and almost overturned the boat." Asked about this alternative, Vrapi explained that it all relates to details such as the "jagged rock" found in the last sentence of the paragraph.
As for the same question, the graduate said that there are some alternatives that can be the correct answer. Earlier, during her communication, Vrapi said that alternative questions are placed next to each other to differentiate the levels of students.
"If the question is solved by all graduates, then it is of the first level. But if we want 50% of graduates to be selected for a question, at least 2 alternatives must be very close to each other, otherwise we cannot make a difference. In the third level questions, there should be 3 alternatives close to each other, which should be chosen by 20% of graduates, or even 5%. These are questions that should make a difference, otherwise we will all come out with 10. There are no questions that are solved by everyone. There are low, medium and high level questions. An eighth grade student will go up to 40 test points. A tenth student will start with 50 points. But a student who gets 50 points is not the same as one who gets 58, despite the fact that both are with 10. The one who gets 58-60 is a student who catches these high level questions, which should be at least 4% -5%. " She said, among other things.
