In this respect, the Albanian youth is very far from the youth in Europe

Albania and Kosovo have the highest number of young people aged 15-24 who are neither at work nor on a scale! In an article published on Monitor.al, according to INSTAT, 25.5% of young people in this age group in Albania have no commitment, while in Kosovo, in the same year, 33% of young people were in this condition. .

Such figures clearly speak to the state of the country and raise major social, economic and other problems. Albanian youth remain far from the youth of the region and EU countries.

Northern Macedonia in 2019 had only 18% of young people who were neither at work nor at school, in Montenegro this percentage was 17%, in Serbia it was 15%, and in EU countries it was 10%.

Uneducated young people who do not engage in any kind of lucrative activity create great concern for the progress of the country and the growth of emigration.

Mostly, the Western Balkans are characterized by high passivity, high emigration and high unemployment. Lack of desire, economic difficulties and problems in education, bring such percentages and young people who can not meet the demands of labor markets.
