The song of this film could have won the Eurovision Song Contest

Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir (or better to say: Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams) are two Icelandic singers who will take part in Eurovision with the song "Volcano Man". It's all a fad, as it's about the movie "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga".

The comedy film is expected to address the story of Lars and Sigri, who are given the opportunity to represent their country at the European Song Festival.

The film, directed by David Dobkin and scripted by Andrew Steele and Will Ferrell, would be released in May, at the same time as the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, but due to pandemic, the premiere will be released on Netflix on June 26, 2020.

In May 2018, while preparing for the film, Ferrell attended the festival held in Lisbon, Portugal to search for special characters. He also spoke with the participating singers. McAdams and Ferrell were also seen during Eurovision rehearsals in Israel in 2019. Fortunately, the filming was completed successfully and no one experienced the famous volcanic eruptions of Iceland.

So far, Netflix has not released a trailer yet, but is content with an interpretation of the soundtrack "Volcano Man" by Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. The latter does not sing; her part is performed by Swedish singer Molly Sanden. In online comments, people write that if the song had participated in Eurovision, they would have voted 100%.

"Am I the only one I've heard so many times", "We all know we would have voted for this song", "This song is 100 times better than all the Eurovision songs", "Song performs well at Eurovision 2021 ?are some of the online comments.
