British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds became parents to a baby for the first time on April 29. The head of state named his son Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson. The couple named the middle name Nicholas in honor of the two doctors who saved their lives during his fight with Covid-19.

"Wildred is the name of Boris' grandfather, Laërie is my grandfather's name, and Nicholas was named in honor of two doctors, Nick Price and Nick Hart, who saved his life last month." on Instagram.

Such a gesture seems to have excited many doctors, who have expressed their gratitude to the new family.

"We are very honored and humbled by this gratitude and we thank the entire medical team we worked with. We wish the young family good health," the doctors said.

The prime minister's son was born 17 days after his discharge from the hospital where he was battling coronavirus. His condition worsened and he had to spend 3 days in intensive care. Even in a recent interview, Johnson said his health condition was so critical that doctors had planned a plan in which case the prime minister would die.
