A year after the birth of her son, actress Amy Schumer decided to change her son's name because she realized it sounded weird.

She and her partner, Chris Fischer initially thought of calling the baby Gene Attell Fischer! Try reading this name aloud and you will understand why Amy decided to change it.

Gene Attell sounds like "genital" and this name is not at all interesting to put on a baby.

The news of the name change, the actress has made public recently, saying that they accidentally realized "that they had called her son genital".

Now the baby's new name is Gene David Fischer, as David was also called Amy's father.
