Princess Maria Teresa of Spain has passed away at the age of 86 as a result of coronavirus. The Princess, part of the Spanish royal family Bourbon-Parma passed away yesterday and the news was announced by her brother, Prince Sixtus Henry.

She was born in Paris, France in June 1933. The princess is the first royal victim in the world, while a few days ago it was announced that Prince Charles of the United Kingdom had also tested positive.

Spain is one of the countries most affected by Covid-19, where in the last 24 hours alone 832 people died and 5690 in total.
