Tirana International Airport explains what will happen to the flights

In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, according to the Civil Aviation Authority's announcement, starting March 23 (Monday), all flights to and from Tirana International Airport will be suspended until a second notice.

"The airport remains open to all humanitarian flights, repatriation flights, cargo flights and any other flights that serve to alleviate and overcome this great challenge for us all," said the Chief Executive Officer of the International Airport Dr. Tirana Constantin von Alvensleben.

From March 23, 2020, all flights will be terminated, except for Air Albania, which continues to fly to and from Istanbul.

In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the Civil Aviation Authority's announcement starting March 23, 2020, all flights to and from Tirana International Airport are suspended until a second notice. Only Air Albania will continue its flight to and from Istanbul.
