The American brand Firehouse Subs®, known in the market of quick service sandwich restaurants in the United States and Canada, is expected to be extended to Albania and Kosovo, as a result of reaching an exclusive agreement for the development of the brand between the companies Super Subs sh .pk, part of Balkan Foods and Firehouse Subs®. The first Firehouse Subs restaurant will open in Albania during 2024 and this also marks the opening of the first restaurant in Southeast Europe, to be followed by Kosovo in the following year.
Firehouse Subs was founded in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1994 by two firefighting brothers who brought the culture of the American fire service to their restaurant. Therefore Firehouse Subs means large portions, high quality ingredients and a special steaming process that enhances the flavor of meats and cheeses. This brand is also known for its commitment to the community through the creation of the Firehouse Subs® Foundation in the United States and Switzerland, which comes to the aid of equipment or other means to fire stations, through the organization of fundraising activities.
