He dies at the age of 86 Nexhmije Pagarusha

Nexhmije Pagarusha, Albanian music legend, Bilbil of Kosovo, has passed away at the age of 86. She had long been suffering from a serious illness. Her relatives shared the bitter news on Facebook through mourning photos and posts.

Nexhmije Pagarusha was born on May 7, 1933, in Pagarusha, a village near Malisheva, Kosovo. Her musical career spanning 40 years began in 1948 on Radio Pristina.

She has performed songs such as "Baresha," "Drunken Jam," "Shota ', etc., which are considered masterpieces of Albanian music; unfortunately it was not recorded.It is believed that the Kosovo Bilbil has sung over 150 songs because as she said, she and the music were one.

Pagarusha ended her career in 1984 after a concert in Sarajevo. In 2000, after 16 years off the stage, she returned with the song "For You," a Ardit Jewry show. Also, in 2005, he was on the jury of "Magic Song."

In 2012, she received the title "Honor of the Nation" from President Bujar Nishani. While in 2018, he received the "Medal of Appreciation" from President Trump.
