Historically, throughout his career, Ermal Mamaqi has focused on one direction: humor. The shows focused on humor, his personality, his Instagram. So we were a little surprised to see Mamaqi start posting inspirational quotes from Aristotely, Sheryl Sandberg or Leo Tolstoy.
With our calculations, Mamaqi launched the motivational posting saga in November last year, and to date it has neither stopped nor planned.
Invited to "ThumbOn," he talked about his journey from poor to successful. He thinks that businessmen are perverted in Albania because we are a post-communist country. He himself was taught by his parents that businessmen exploit the poor. According to Mamaqi (and capitalism), businessmen create opportunities for the poor to not be so poor. "The poor are not poor because they are rich," he says. "To get rich you have to change your mind first and figure out how to get rich."
How did all this happen? How did we get here? Why is Ermal Mamaqi talking about the poor and the rich?
?I train to become a coach. I'm not at that level yet to go out and tell people I can show them the way to success. It's one of my dreams. I believe it will happen sometime, ?he explained.
By coach, Mamaqi means guru for life, success and business, more or less like Tony Robbins who is being mentioned every day in Anabel. Perhaps this best describes the spirit of the people in Albania today. They want to be successful and rich and want someone else to find the way for them.
