Xhevdet Ferri, one of the most talented actors in Albanian cinematography, passed away at the age of 59. For almost a week, according to Newsbomb.al, the actor was hospitalized where he was treated after being diagnosed with cancer. Although treated intensively, the disease progressed rapidly.

The Grand Master of the film was one of the icons of Albanian cinema in the 80s-90s with dozens of protagonist roles. Some of the best-known films include "Traces of Blue", "Shadows Left Behind", "The Warm Wind of Depths", "And One Day Comes", "Tales from the Past" and more.
