In July 2019, Netflix announced that Friends would no longer air on January 1 of this year. The news that the hugely popular series would no longer be part of the platform was accompanied by a series of memes and reactions. However, good news for fans of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross: In Albania, "Friends" is still on Netflix.

Business Insider reports that the decision to remove Netflix affects only the United States of America. The sitcom will continue to be accessible to other fans outside the US, at least for now.

Earlier this spring, Friends is expected to switch to HBO Max. The HBO Max launch date has not yet been made public.

HBO Max and Warner Media will collaborate to create new programs for viewers that have never been done before on streaming platforms. However, it is not known if HBO Max will be available in Albania, like Netflix.

Until then, you can revisit "Friends" while still on Netflix.
