Gjergj Kacinari

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, wishing to dedicate a message of condolences, makes the gaffe that made the Internet lap. Gjergj Kacinari's name is confused with Albanian composer Alfred Kacinari. Through a status posted on his Facebook account, the Prime Minister wrote:

Retrieved from Balkan Web

"Albanian art and culture today lost a prestigious professional in the field of music in Albania, the great Alfred Kacinari. Sad news for his separation from life. The world of culture will lack the works and all the special creativity of the master Alfred Kacinari ... "

Apart from the confusion in the name, it seems that Haradinaj was completely misinformed, as he had posted a picture of Alfred Kacinari along with the message. The status was deleted within minutes, being replaced by another, but the posting-gaffe has been retained by the Balkan Web.
