Invited this afternoon at "Aperitiv Fest" with Eni Shehu, was Alketa Vejsiu, one of the directors of the ART Festival of Songs. For all the moments of television noise, criticism and dissatisfaction, Alketa gave an answer:
"Of course I've heard the news. Being the leader of an online media, I have to keep up to date with the latest news, but I just don't mind one thing at all. I don't have to deal with controversy at all. We haven't even come up with state funds, none of this. I don't want to be paid, not because I don't need the money. It's just my choice. Those five leks, let's use them for something else missing. "
From the moment it was learned that the artistic direction of the festival would be from her and Vera Grabocka, people showed curiosity and interest, but the criticism was not lacking. Although Weissy did not mention any names, we recall that a short time ago, Diana Ziu and her husband, Vangjel Toche , sent an open letter to Grabocka asking them to know why their song was rejected. The same dissatisfaction accompanied, Kujtim Prodan, or Erik Lloshi.
In terms of the abuses that have been talked about for a long time, Alketa flatly denied that such a thing would happen.
"There was no room for abuse. These discussions are a result of the lack of trust Albanians have for Albanians. There needs to be a little more respect for Summer and her work. Summer has chosen not to appear on screen and is a noble gesture. We're not doing the festival to get trophies. We're doing it we want to do it. This is not the Alceta nor the Summer festival, it's the Albanian festival, that's my idea. to be heard and to be understood. We cannot give value to controversy when music is so beautiful. "- Alketa concluded.
As for the winner, Vejsiu said the jury does not know yet, as three foreign Eurovision nominees will come, while the 20 participating songs will be presented to the public on Monday (December 9th).
