The Seismological Center of Mediterranean Europe (EMSC), since the devastating earthquake of November 26, has been trying to keep Albania and other Balkan countries up to date on physical activity. Through a graphic posted on Twitter, EMSC seeks to appease Albanians by stressing that seismic activity is on the decline.
?Seismic activity in Albania is decreasing. We hope that the aftermath will be further reduced so that our friends and people in Albania can stay calm. Stay safe, ?writes EMSC.
As you can see, the number of aftermaths has been decreasing day by day. Earthquake magnitudes have also been lower.
As to how secure the EMSC is, it must be said that it is an international, non-governmental organization working on many European Union projects. Considering that the Mediterranean region is more prone to earthquakes, the EMSC was established in 1975 at the request of the European Seismological Commission (ESC) and has since been one of the most reliable institutions for earthquakes in the Mediterranean.
