A New Zealand woman and a man from Australia took their aviation love to a different level by marrying on a flight.

David Valliant and Cathy Valliant crowned their love in marriage on a Jetstar commercial flight from Sidney to Auckland.

As the plane flew from state to state, they swore oaths to each other in a special ceremony at the front of the cabin.

One aircraft crew member served as the town hall employee and the other passengers as wedding guests.

?It was the most wonderful experience of my life. I'll never forget it, ?Cathy said in a statement.

The couple got acquainted online in 2011 as the two were playing the game "Airport City." Two years later, they met face-to-face at Sidney Airport.

David wanted to propose to his future wife on a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne, but did not let up. However he summoned the forces and proposed that night.

"The love of aviation brought us closer together," said Cathy.

They were officially married at Sidney airport before leaving for flight, but the ceremony in the air is what they will remember.

Cathy wanted to do something special for the wedding and asked the Jetstar airline if they could get married on one of their planes.

"We wanted to symbolize our love for aviation, Australia, New Zealand and each other," Cathy explained.

Fortunately, the airline agreed and took the steps needed to make the wedding in heaven possible.

"It was a very special moment and without a doubt, the first time I ever married a couple on the air," said Robyn Holt, a crew member who served as the town hall clerk for the couple. ?I'll never forget the role I played in Cathy and David's big day. Their passion for aviation was unforgettable. The passengers were also very pleased. ?

Currently, Cathy and David reside in Melbourne.
