
Richard Gere's wife, Alejandra, is pregnant for the second time, just nine months after giving birth to a son,
Spanish magazine Hola, which is close to the couple and announced its first pregnancy, announced that Alejandra will give birth next spring.
"Pretty Woman," star Richard Gere, 70, and publicist Alejandra Silva, 36, became parents of a boy in February. They declared that they would become parents like no other: through a photo where the Dalai Lama rubbed his swollen belly. Under the photo posted on Instagram, she wrote: "We couldn't tell the world without telling His Excellency the Dalai Lama."
Hollywood legend Gere is not worried about being a dad at this age.
Richard has been married to supermodel Cindy Crawford from 1991 until 1995, when they divorced. She then met model and actress Carey Loveell in 2002. He and Carey have a son, Homer James Jigme Gere, born in 2000. They separated after 11 years of marriage in 2013.
Alejandra, the current partner, has a six-year-old son named Albert with her ex, businessman Govind Friedland.
