The accident yesterday evening in the Tirana-Elbasan tunnel has resulted in fatal for Elton Macholli, who is learned to be the brother of Socialist MP, Blerina Gjylameti.

The 37-year-old lost his life after his car (fitted with a gas plant) crashed into a truck and then burst into flames.

The heavy incident occurred inside the tunnel, causing the immediate death of Macholi, who worked as a helicopter board technician at the air base.

This is said to be the second tragedy in the family of MP Gjylameti. About a year ago, in July 2018, Gjylameti lost her sister due to a serious illness.
