Chiara Ferragni documentary hated by critics, but breaks records by fans

Chiara Ferragni Unposted, the documentary on that part of life that Chiara Ferragni does not post on Instagram has broken a record in the history of Italian cinema by being the most-watched and most sold-out movie of the week. Screenplay and directed by Elisa Amoruso follows the 32-year-old with 17 million followers described by Forbes as the first fashion influencer and studied at Harvard University as a phenomenon.

The documentary, premiering at the Venice Film Festival, is screened in cinemas in just three days. Over 160,000 people have seen and sold over 1.6 million euros of tickets.

Chiara Ferragni Unposted recounts Chiara's climb to where she is today. She grew up in front of the camera, thanks to her mother's passion for documenting family vacations and special events over the years. She recounts her spontaneity in sharing privacy with the world, the difficulties of marrying Fédéz, pregnancy problems, and her son, Leone.

Beyond the Unposted title, all that is said in the documentary is known. But there is a pleasant surprise. Fedez is a bit ironic and shows off his perfect wife. ?To tell others about myself scared me: I hadn't learned to have control. I have been posting about my life since I was 16, first on the blog and now on Instagram. Then I found harmony with Elisa Amoruso, which made me discover parts of myself that I didn't know. For example, he hadn't realized how much my mother had made me who I am today, ?Ferragni said.

From Unposted, Ferragni wants to ?convey a positive message: be determined and make your dreams a reality. I'm so happy to be a source of inspiration and you'll probably understand better why through the documentary. "

In the documentary, Chiara is projected as perfect, always in control of the situation, "a very positive person" with excellent communication skills and an uninterrupted dialogue with followers: "I read all the messages, comments, do surveys regularly, seek advice, through face their difficulties. ?

She is especially adored by teens who see her as the role model of a successful woman, but also a subject of criticism, ranging from weight, chest size to legs.

"I am very strong, although at first I was very bad at reading negative messages and comments. It made me doubt myself, on the path I had taken. Now it's easier for me not to be influenced. I want to be an example against the keyboard heroes and very soon I will devote more energy to this mission, ?she says. Her son, Leone, is a year and a half old and posted on Instagram before she was born. Of course, this decision was heavily criticized.

"He is the son of two famous people: to talk about Leo, to our family happiness seems to me the most normal and transparent thing. I also get a positive message here. When I was little, Mom was filming everything. Today it happens on social networks, it's a cultural shift. Privacy today is a strange concept, unlike before. For me, sharing life with others is essential. I'm an open book and have no problem telling myself because I'm my own: in social media and in reality I'm the same person. I constantly try to improve and think of myself as a third, like the Chiara I want to be.
