The women's football team at Real Madrid has signed for the first time as part of Kosovo's Asllani team, which played previously with Linkopings in Sweden.
Through a Twitter post, the footballer wrote: "I'm so excited about writing history, helping build a team where I'll be part of it myself."
Real Madrid announced that it will take the women's team Deportivo Tacón, a Spanish club currently playing in Primiera División.
Kosovarja was born in Kristianstad by two Kosovo Albanian parents and has often been rated as one of the best players of Swedish teams. The footballer has always talked about its origins, and even has an eagle tattoo on his ankle.
It was placed at the center of a fierce debate after making the eponymous symbol when he scored the third goal in facing Ukraine in the World Cup qualifiers in August of the previous year.
"The gym is a sign of gratitude and respect for Kosovo, the country of my origin," she wrote. "There is nothing to do with political events, I just wanted to greet my grandson with that gesture, I had not planned. I am surprised by the fact that the media consider it a political gesture. "
Meanwhile, questioning whether he feared making a fine, Kosovar said, "Let me keep my salary, I have no problem."
