Cindy Marina, the newcomer to Miss Universe Albania 2019, is volleyball player. The 20-year-old is followed by USC Trojans and the national volleyball team in the country. Marina is the third Albanian Miss who has a career or a go at the sport.
Floriana Garo, Miss World Albania 2012, like Cindy Marina, played volleyball for her college team at the City College of New York. He has also won the 2007 Player of the Year prize and 2009.
Suada Sherifi, Miss World 2006, Miss Albania 2005, has played basketball for the Tirana team for years. She gave up the sport after a walking injury and pursued her as a notary and entrepreneur.
Aside from Miss, volleyball also played Sonila Meço, years ago and for very little.
While Julian Deda, in "10 Facts You Did not Know About Me" for Who Magazine, stood cryptically simply said "he was a federated football player in a squad in Germany."
Bes Kallaku, on the other hand, has a well-documented football career on his website at the Albanian Football Federation. He has played with St.Kollin, FC Kevintan, KS Korabin and KF Adriatiku Mamurras.
