Why are Tuesday so ugly days?

Unfortunately - again - is Tuesday. Yes, we missed on Monday and that's a good thing, but anyway, we expect most of the week - if, of course, we get to the end of the week, because as we all know, Tuesday is endless. At one point or another, you should have thought of yourself "for sure it's Thursday." But no. It's just Tuesday. It takes three, four days to come to the weekend. It seems like an eternity has passed from Monday and of course you can guess it's Wednesday, but as I said, it's Tuesday! How? How likely it is still Tuesday and when this hell will end. Why does it make us feel so embarrassed, week after week?

I thought that this question could only be answered by God, but then I spoke to Ruth Ogden, Liverweight Lecturer of Psychology at John Moores Univerisity, which studies how people perceive the passing of time. As you may have suspected, the negative feelings we experience on Tuesday are closely linked to the moons. "When we do a lot of things, when we process a lot of information, it looks like we've spent more time than we really spent," Ogden says. For most people working 9 to 5, Monday is the most busy day of the week - the day when you run out of jobs over the weekend, the day that ends the jobs left on Friday and the day you plan on the following week. Consequently, the moon looks extremely long and so when it comes Tuesday it seems unbelievable that it's just Tuesday.

Another factor influencing the perception of time is the emotions, Ogden says. The more we feel, the more distorted is the perception of time. The researchers measure their feelings through sweat and polygraphs. Given that Monday is a stressful day as it has a lot of work, it seems to last forever. When we come to the dead Tuesday and we realize that most of the week we have money, we feel shocked and disappointed, explains Ogden.

Do you want me bad news? This phenomenon will worsen over the years. "Older people say that time passes faster when you are old. It looks as if Christmas comes faster from year to year. It may sound enjoyable if you enjoy Christmas, but think it good. Replace the crown with Tuesdays. The martens never end, as well as the short. How is it possible that time is accelerating, but it is forbidden for March. What is time once? Ahhh.

Ogden suggests that we change the way we see it on Tuesday. She, like many of us, organizes weekend entertainment activities (plans with friends, restaurants, movies), under the idea that life and work will somehow calm down. So, do something nice on Tuesdays to have what to expect on Monday. Yes, most of the moons will be terrible, but Tuesday, Tuesday can be improved.
