It seems that work in Albania is carried out by the uneducated. Unlike the region, Albania's workplaces are dominated by people with low education (less than 8 years).
These days, the World Bank analyzed employment trends in the Balkans region, which noted that the number of employed in Albania during 2017-2018, about 45 percent of them have low school education versus 22 percent of the regional average.
Not only that, but in the region, even an entirely different development has been noted, where low education workers have lost jobs.
Exceptions to the regional trend have been made only in Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania where employment for primary education employees has increased. Meanwhile, in Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo, workplaces for those with lower education have been shortened.
Most women in the primary education group dominate women. In the Western Balkans, the proportion of women with low levels of education among the working age population is higher than the proportion of women educated in the workforce.
In terms of golden age workers (25-54 years), it turned out to represent 75% of employees in the Western Balkans, where Albania's share was 71%.
