Today, in Athens, the sale of all shares of Telekom JSC was finalized. otherwise known as Telekom Albania. OTE, the previous owner, passed the total ownership to the Bulgarian company Albania Telecom Invest AD for the value of 50 million euros.

President and Chief Executive Officer of OTE, Michael Tsamaz said that "the sale of Telekom Albania concluded the successful investment of the OTE group in Albania". He thanked management staff and all Telecom employees for the company's achievements and co-operation with OTE.

The deal with OTE and Albania Telecom Invest AD has entered the final stage and is expected to be approved by local and financial authorities. Everything will be finalized in the first half of the year.
