In a recent report, the World Labor Organization states that in Albania, the gender pay gap is 32% (according to the GINI coefficient).
According to the chart, it is noted that the countries with the lowest levels of pay inequality are in the high income group, while the countries with the highest levels of inequality in salaries are in low income and middle income groups.
Meanwhile, according to recent INSTAT data, the gender pay gap is lower, 10.5%, which means that in total, women in Albania are paid 10.5% less than men.
