Ilva Tare talks about the new job, feminism and children

Years ago, Ilva Tare worked on VAT, translating and adapting Euronew's news. Today, she serves as the information director at Euronews Albania, the first franchise of the media giant in all the Albanian speaking lands. In an interview with Class Magazine , Ilva spoke, among other things, about family care and career.

Regarding the new position as the director of information at Euronews Albania:

"[...] For more than two decades of hard work and perseverance to follow the simple and tough principles of good journalism, I was given the opportunity to enter the" media giant home "as an employee of Euronews, with a headquarter in Lyon, France, with colleagues who have nationalities of change, but which unites the goal to give public interest.

I will be on screen, with a daily format with the main events and in-depth analysis. I look forward to a lot of work that I am eager to share with the public in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and everywhere live Albanians. for me it is inspiring that for the first time Albanians will be part of the international media market through Euronews Albania. "

With regard to feminism:

"I am a woman who supports women and girls. Then in this debate about equality to be the same with men I do not like categorization as a feminist or activist. The truth is that women all over the world are paid less than their male colleagues and enjoy fewer personal professional privileges because of their gender. This is the fact. As is the battle to change this reality, where I try to be part of. "

It is not a good choice to be [a] poor woman. And Albania is not a good place for the not strong. "

With regard to children:

"[In the role of the mother I feel] full! It changes everything, but especially the way it sees life. Responsibility for them is so great that you are careful about everything you did not even think twice.

Children do not grow up with books alone. I do not know how to make mistakes, maybe, but at this point Edward has been a great help. "
