'She was excited by the blind guys, like me'

"I'm a blind guy, twenty-something old. Several years ago, by curiosity, I joined a group for people with disabilities and I met a nice and attractive girl. He was blinded by blind people and repeatedly questioned how I saw the world: how I navigated, how I conceptualized space and forms. Consequently, the conversations took a sexual twist and I started sending some photos - I with the stick in my hand or me while reading the braille. They liked those that were not in focus, the fact that I did not hear and excite.

Over time, we met. She wanted to see it as moving, cooking and cleaning. It may sound humble, but it was not. She only showed respect and curiosity, never despised the way I did things, never made me feel small. Incidentally, the way I saw the world and solved the problems excited him. She even asked me once if I wanted to 'touch my face', as blind people on the TV often did (a wrong stereotype). In the end, age, distance, and circumstances split us apart, but I remember the time we spent with lots of love. To this day, she is the only girl I saw with which I was.

Many people with disabilities experience unpleasant occurrences with others outside the community. There are rarely boys who write blind girls on social networks and ask them about their inability. Having a fetish on people with disabilities is not wrong, as long as they realize that we are also people, we deserve love, affection and have sexual desires like people with no disabilities. If this sexual desire is augmented by the fact that we are sitting on a wheelchair or by walking with a stick ... where is the problem?
