The deputy and head of the Economy Commission Erjon Brace expressed dissatisfaction with the Albanian Football Federation regarding fiscal lawfulness while calling on Minister of Finance Arben Ahmetaj in interpellation. Brace wanted to know how much is the tax on the income of the people who are paid by the AFF and how much is 10% that belongs to the budget by the television right that the Federation has won the last ten years.
Ahmetaj, in an attempt to avoid answering, listed some of the government's achievements and continued to list the payments of the most popular club football players in the country.
"At Skanderbeg, Kristi Vangjel paid 100,000 new leks a month, less than the club's economist. With these payrolls, these players have not had the opportunity to eat, not play. De Sousa has received 22,000 new leks a month since entering the field. Big coach Bujar Lubani received 36,000 lek per month. In Tirana, Gugash Magani worked without money at all, did it from passion, did not receive a salary. Then we have Partizan Klodian Dervishi, also without Lek. Ze Maria receives 19,000 lek, as much as Ilion Lika. Astrit Nallbani receives only 1 lek, gross salary. Stop at Vllaznia, Armando Cungu gets 544,000 lek. In Partizan, Alveshi receives 130,000 leks per month, Alban Hoxha 100,000 leke per month [...] "
The figures mentioned by Ahmetaj are what they formally declare, as, in fact, the players get paid far more. "I mean that football formalization is an emergency," Ahmetaj concluded.
"Before the fiscal law are equal and have the obligation to pay taxes and taxes [individuals and institutions that have gained fiscal immunity]. Why would you be granted fiscal immunity? "Said Brace before the deputy Bashkim Fino turned to Ahmetaj with" Do the Duty! "
