Melasma is a condition where suddenly dark spots on the skin appear. Initially it all starts as a common irritation, a slight and visible redness, a pimple joint made together.
Causes of malassas:
Pregnancy
contraceptives
Exposure to the sun
Standing for hours in front of the computer
Typical areas where stains appear : on the edge, on the apple or on the forehead.
Can it be cured?
No, still today there is no specific cure for melasma. If this pigment disorder occurs during pregnancy, a few months after the birth the situation will naturally normalize.
By contrast, if malas comes as a result of other causes, treatment takes time and is much more difficult. Try to:
- treat your face constantly
- use sun cream with SPF over 30
- add accessories: glasses, caps, scarf
