Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are two of the world's most disconnected people. However, lastly, the twins gave an interview to WSJ Magazine about the launch of The Row's men's collection for their fashion house.
Twins also spoke briefly about their relationship. Mary-Kate has long lived in New York with her 49-year-old French husband, while Ashley can move to Los Angeles again, always maintaining a special twin relationship.
"We've been learning to communicate for 32 years," Ashley says about their relationship, adding that she and Mary-Kate are in a "marriage and partnership" of a kind. "There are downs and downs ... We do everything together."
"We came from the womb doing exactly that," Mary meets the floor.
Throughout the interview, we learn that Mary-Kate and Ashley care a lot about the details of the clothing and accessories they create: Once, they spent six months wondering if they should put their belts inside or outside the Margaux bag. When the votes resulted in the draw, the twins Olsen decided to produce and market both.
Also, Mary-Kate and Ashley spent a whole year studying the men's costume, focusing on the stomach slightly higher than usual. "It was about millimeters," said Mary-Kate for the difference.
