Infectious medicine Kozeta Hoxha tells Top Channel that there are cases of patients affected by what is known as air conditioner disease.

The pathology in question is a rare form of pneumonia, caused by the bacteria of the same name, legionella, from which a condition similar to the flu, Pontiac fever. Elderly people, smokers and people with weak immune systems are the most vulnerable.

The disease appears 10 days after the bacterium has penetrated the body. The first symptoms that appear are:

Muscle pain
fever
Temperature up to 40 degrees C

Difficulty breathing
Vomiting and diarrhea
Disorder or other mental disorders
