The 87-storey tower rotates 90 degrees from the foundation to the top. The Laktah Center will serve as the headquarters for the giant fuel company Gazprom, which plans to enter new offices by the end of 2019.

According to one of the architects of the building, Philip Nikandrov, the tower will close at the end of this summer, although there is still work until next year. The shape of the tower symbolizes the fire, a distinct feature of the Gazprom logo.

Currently Laktah Center is ranked 13th in the list of the tallest buildings in the world.
