For a long time, Facebook is trying to attract more users with a dedicated video section called Watch. Videos are original products and the goal is to resemble so much YouTube as users continue to use it as a platform. Still, the plan is not working as expected and Facebook intends to include long videos on Instagram.

For now, users can upload videos at a maximum of one minute. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, videos can be uploaded for up to an hour.

The videos will be in long format, in two ways. Long and long time in size. Unlike any other video app that allows video, videos on the new platform within Instagram will have vertical format.

Really young people are leaving Facebook rapidly for other social networks like Instagram and there really is the biggest audience there, but will it be worth it? The whole advantage of Instagram lies in the fact that things move fast, with every refresh to show up new photos, with two slides down see dozens of posts. Attention is at a minimum and one hour video does not seem to be tempting.

However, plans are still tentative and nothing has been finalized, but Instagram has started talks with popular people on the platform to create a container in this format.
