After the departure of Besa Shahini, the Prime Minister of the country has entrusted the task of Minister of Education, SP MP, Evis Kushi. Kushi, born in Elbasan and graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Business Administration branch has long experience as a lecturer throughout her career.
From 1998 to 2013 she was a lecturer at the University "Aleksandër Xhuvani" in Elbasan. In the academic year 2008-2009 she was a lecturer at the State University of Tetova, Faculty of Economics, Macedonia. In the years 2012-2013 she was the dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University "Aleksandër Xhuvani" in Elbasan.
Since 2013, the new Minister of Education has been elected a member of the SP and is also a member of the Committee on Economy and Finance.
Evis Kushi is also the author and co-author of scientific publications in the field of marketing and tourism.
