Renowned actress Zendaya has decided to poke fun at the rumors circulating online about a secret wedding with her fiancé, Tom Holland.
During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, March 16, the Euphoria star addressed the rumors of a secret wedding and even shared a video to clarify the situation. The video featured a fake "wedding" taken from her new film The Drama.
Rumors of the marriage began after her personal stylist, Law Roach, announced during the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony on March 1 that the couple had already married.
During the interview, host Jimmy Kimmel asked the actress if she had seen the news that was circulating online.
"I'm sure you know the internet has gone crazy with rumors that you might be married," he told her.
"Really? I've never seen anything like it!" Zendaya replied, laughing.
The moderator added that some fans had gone even further, creating photos of her wedding to Tom Holland using artificial intelligence, which many online users had taken as real.
"A lot of people were fooled by them," the actress said.
“I was out and people were saying, 'Oh my God, your wedding photos are amazing.' And I was like, 'Oh no, they were made with artificial intelligence. They're not real.'”
To clear up the confusion, Zendaya shared a video. The clip was actually a scene from her movie The Drama, in which she stars alongside actor Robert Pattinson. In the scene, the actress appears dressed as a bride taking photos with guests, while Pattinson plays the groom. For comical effect, Tom Holland's head was placed on his body.
“So, just to be clear, this wasn't artificial intelligence?” the moderator asked.
"No, it was real. I was there," the actress added jokingly.

Her appearance on the talk show came just days after Zendaya appeared in public with her engagement ring and another ring on her wedding finger at the Academy Awards . At the event, she and Robert Pattinson presented the award for best director to Paul Thomas Anderson, for the film One Battle After Another.
