TMZ reported, confirmed by People, that the couple's daughter is named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Malti Marie was born on January 15 in a San Diego hospital, according to the birth certificate obtained from TMZ.
In January, in an Instagram post, they announced for the first time that a baby came to life through a surrogate birth (birth where another woman agrees to give birth to a child for a person / couple).
Last January, Priyanka talked about E! Daily Pop about the couple's dream of having children in the future, jokingly adding that she wanted as many children as needed for "a cricket team". "Family is a big part of my life," she told E! News. "It has always been part of my dreams."
