After two years of postponing dates and cancellations due to the pandemic, Billboard has confirmed who will be the singers who will head the shows at Coachella for 2022.
The names are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Kanye West and the Swidish House Mafia. The festival will be held on April 15-24. Other names that will perform are Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Stromae, Doja Cat etc.
Billboard confirmed the names with a source close to the festival after circulating a poster. In 2020, it was predicted that the main names would be Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. Billboard has previously confirmed that Scott and Rage Against the Machine will no longer be in Coachella 2022. Travis Scott was removed due to tragedy at the Astroworld festival. Franc Ocean will perform at the festival in 2023.
Coachella is arguably the biggest music festival in the United States, not only because it is attended by more than 200,000 people over two weeks, but also for the influence it has around the world referring to fashion, music and other arts trends.
