"One Day" became a phenomenon with the release years ago of the film starring Ana Hathaway, but Netflix decided to produce a 14-episode series and people were surprised.
The protagonists are the actress Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall, while the series was created based on the novel by David Nicholls, which deals with the 20-year story of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew. In the series, Emma and Dexter are introduced on July 15, 1988, during their university graduation, and the day after they break up, only to meet on the same day 1 year later.

Throughout the series, in each new series, Emma and Dexter age 1 year and meet on the same date.
As they promise to remain friends, they each continue their lives and personal relationships to follow their own course until they reunite in love after many romantic failures. But the end of the series has brought tears to the entire TikTok. Viral videos of people crying hysterically have been posted under the hashtag #oneday, while most opinions are positive and compliment the production and the way this series is made.
"This version of Emma-Dex is very natural and honest," someone writes. "Can we talk about "One Day". I have never cried so much in my life with a series," writes another.
"Ambika and Leo are brilliant," wrote another TikTok user.
