Everyone is positioning themselves as acrobats: We explain the viral trend

If your Instagram or TikTok is filled with videos of people posing in such an impressive way, it's Nicki Minaj's "fault".

The #NickiMinajChallenge trend is related to a moment from the music video for her 2013 song, "High School," where Minaj appears by the pool, in a pose that if you try at home, you'll at least fall over, at best.

With one leg over the other, high heels and a fearsome balance, this is the pose that has sparked the newest challenge.

Even though the song has been released for more than a decade, recent comments on YouTube are related to the new trend, because the internet never forgets.

To take the challenge to the extreme, people on social media are making the pose increasingly difficult: some with only one foot on the ground, some balanced on weights, and others standing on top of a beer can.

Just remember: orthopedists are hoping this trend continues. :)
