The romantic surprise ordered by Mateo for Brikena in "Big Brother VIP" was received with curiosity by the public. Everyone was waiting to see "what would happen between them". The atmosphere was romantic, but there was more awkwardness than spark between them. And it is there, beyond the few words, that the body language speaks the most clearly.

In the first moments, when Brikena comes out into the yard and still doesn't know who is behind the surprise, her body seems relaxed and a little surprised.

Later, she laughs, dances with the bear, and sits next to him without any sign of tension.

Here is an important detail: at this stage, Brikena does not know who has carried out the surprise. She has declared that she is single, but single does not necessarily mean "without any acquaintance, without any contact, without any opportunity". It is quite natural that, for a few seconds, such a surprise opens up space for interpretations - perhaps by someone else, perhaps by someone outside the house. This remains, of course, only a possible reading, not a fact.

But as soon as Mateo appears, the atmosphere changes. And it changes immediately. Brikena shifts into a much more controlled stance. She assumes a serious stance, the physical distance increases, the smile becomes more formal.

When Mateo personalizes the surprise – saying the bear's name is "Teo" and directly linking it to himself – she averts her gaze and looks away.

When Mateo reaches out for a hug, Brikena makes a direct hand gesture that means “no.” It’s a very significant moment: a calm, undramatic, but firm rejection. One of the clearest signals of body language.

Even the statement that he will "give her a chance to get to know him" is not accompanied by any bodily signals that indicate romantic interest.

Instead, she opts for formal contact again, a handshake instead of a hug, and maintains physical distance. In body language, this seems more like a way to politely manage the situation than to open a door to an intimate relationship.

In the end, even the symbolism of the surprise shifts: Brikena refuses to call the bear “Teo” (short for Mateo) and names him “Boli.” A small but significant detail turns the surprise back into something neutral.

The surprise came true, Brikena and Mateo were embarrassed, we were embarrassed, and nothing else changed. Only the bear, who changed his name.
