The Infectious Disease Hospital in Tirana has been completely quarantined.
BalkanWeb suggests that the building has been emptied of other patients and will temporarily serve as a quarantine for the treatment and monitoring of those affected with Covid-19.
Police placed the perimeter bar around the hospital. Family members and patients' companions will not be allowed to stay in hospital unless recommended by the Hospital Directorate.
A new makeshift avenue is being opened for those who will be appearing at the Consulting Inquiry as the site is being used by staff only.
The road in front of the Infectious Disease Hospital has been sprayed with chlorine water as a disinfectant.
