So far, Spain has counted 3434 coronavirus deaths, making it the second largest in the world with the highest number of deaths from this pandemic after Italy.
The news was confirmed by the Spanish Health Minister himself, saying there were 47,610 cases of infected in total.
In China, where the coronavirus originally spread, 3281 people lost their lives, and Italy remains the highest death toll with 6820 people dead.
Experts in Spain have said this week that the increase in infected people will increase in the coming days.
