It seems that Beyoncé hasn't always been the Queen Bee, at least according to her mother, Tina Knowles.
"She was very shy as a child and for that she was bullied quite a few times," she said in a video for Vogue, which she also shared on Instagram. "But the day she reacted to it, she actually reacted to herself. I actually get emotional talking about it. This period for me has just been, I couldn't be more proud of her."

The mother of the famous singer did not forget to thank Kelly Rowland in the video, whom she has long considered as her daughter. "Kelly was always that kid who just tried to protect everybody," Tina said. "I have a memory with her best friend, Barbara, who was a mediator who was just doing the part of the minor ingredient."

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, took care to accompany the video with an important message for all women and girls in the world, but especially for children as the most vulnerable beings. "Every child is different! But everyone is so special. I believe that children are born with their own personality," she wrote. “My three daughters all handled things very differently in life. Learn their personalities and respect their individuality,” she adds.
"Never compare yourself to others with the negatives, always praise the positive differences and pay attention to the things you can boast about them. Children love and encourage positive behavior.”
