Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate and honor love in all its forms. Not just our romantic connections, but our friendships, the people who feel like family, and the way we love ourselves.

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

For Fire signs, the card says this Valentine's Day will be about appreciating who in their lives feels like family — whether by blood or choice. Whether you have a partner or not, make sure to take some time this holiday to connect with your family. "Maybe send a gift to your sister or a sweet message to your aunt or mother," advises tarot card reader Potter. "Accept, celebrate with the family you have, and honor those relationships." Take advantage of the circumstances and plan ahead for some fun. You deserve it.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

While Fire signs may be advised to surround themselves with people, Potter says Water signs should do the opposite and enjoy a holiday to themselves this Valentine's Day. "Make a goal to take care of your heart and show yourself some extra love and care because it seems like our Water signs have spent so much time taking care of everyone else," she says. Buy yourself flowers, order your favorite food, go shopping — just do something that's just for you and you alone.

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

For Air signs, it's time to indulge this holiday. Whether you're in a relationship, going out with friends, or dining alone, this is the day to really do everything in your plans. "Don't save those plans for a special occasion — Valentine's Day is a special occasion," says Potter. "Air signs need to feel like the king of earthly pleasures and sensual delights, and for me the best way to do that is through food," she says.

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Earth signs should embrace a return to their roots this Valentine's Day. "Your Valentine's Day is going to be about your inner child, so I want Earth signs to plan something that lets them play," says Potter. The 6 of Cups is the card of nostalgia, so tap into that vibe — spend a night watching your favorite movies from when you were a kid, making a list, playing games, telling stories, looking at old photos. "If you have access, go to a place you loved when you were younger," says Potter.
