At the National Assembly, Prime Minister Edi Rama presented the new government cabinet in his fourth term, where the biggest innovation is "Diella", the first minister in the world created by Artificial Intelligence.
Diella, who "has started working" since January as a virtual assistant on the government portal e-Albania, will take on the role of Minister for Public Procurement with the mission to make state tenders 100% free from corruption.
According to Rama, decision-making on tenders will gradually be removed from the ministries and entrusted to Diella, which will analyze each procedure and offer impartially. In his speech, Rama described this as a historic step:
"Albania is becoming a country where technology is not just a tool, but an active part of governance."
Meanwhile, this is the new full government cabinet:
Edi Rama – Prime Minister

The decision to have a minister from Artificial Intelligence has also attracted the attention of international media, with The Guardian writing about "the world's first virtual minister", while some critics on social networks ironically said: "Even the Sun will be corrupted in Albania."
