Sharon Stone has revealed the name of the producer who pressured her to have sex on set. The actress said that it was Robert Evans who asked her to perform the intimate act with Billy Baldwin while filming "Silver" in 1993.
"He called me into the office and told me to sit down. I was almost propped up on the ground on some old couches, when I should have been on set. He started coming around the office telling me how he had to have sex with an actress and that I should do the same, because that's the only way my performance would be good. Billy had to do well in that movie because that was a problem," Stone explained on the Louis Theroux podcast.

The producer, according to the actress, insisted that this was the only way to save this film, because her colleague's acting was not good.
Sharon pointed out that the producer had not accepted her advice to hire a good actor, so things had to go that way. Although he remembers it with great embarrassment, Stone revealed that the film in question grossed more than $280 million despite being considered weak by critics.

The producer mentioned by her passed away in 2019, at the age of 89.
